In the event of an unauthorized attempt to unlock your device, the Thumb2thief app captures an image using the front camera and sends it to the user's registered email address for identification purposes.
If the device is reported as stolen or lost, the app captures images from the front camera when a wrong attempt is made to unlock your phone. These images are sent to the user's registered email address to aid in identifying the perpetrator.
Images captured by the app are immediately sent to the user's email address and are automatically deleted from the app's servers every 24 hours. We employ strict security measures to protect captured images from unauthorized access or misuse.
We do not share captured images with any third parties. All image data remains confidential and is used solely for the purposes described in this privacy policy.
Users have the option to disable image capture at any time through the Thumb2thief app settings. This gives users full control over their privacy preferences regarding image capture.
